FFL wings - The chicken wings had a really good crisp and the hot arrabiata sauce was a perfect complement. Need to refresh the periodic table that is painted on the wall? beef patty grilled to medium-well with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, sweet onion, red onion, crispy bacon, egg, and melted cheddar cheese, served with fries and fruit salad. The cafe is family-friendly too, with a cozy play area in the corner and baby chairs available.I enjoyed wonderful service here. I spooned a heap of scrambled eggs, sausage, and muffin into my mouth for a wonderful combination of delicious flavours.After swallowing down that first mouthful, I proceeded to eat the bacon-wrapped pineapples, which was a delight with the juicy savoury bacon and the tangy flavour of the pineapple.I loved the sweet potatoes too because, well, who doesn’t love roasted sweet potatoes?And finally, the refreshing fruit salad provided a nice balance to the rich flavours. Awesome presentation using purple sweet potato purée, deliberately scattered fresh fruits, also mixed fruits skewer poked into the thick cut of grilled chicken with brown sauce. I loved it, though I wish there were more fruits. Small thing I didn’t like were the alfalfa sprouts.. they made the dish look nice but I don’t think it goes well with pancakes In the simple looking bread roll: crab claw chunks, prawn & scallop, dressed up using thousand island, generous sprouts.Side served fruit salad and more thousand island dressing.Served in a metal mug, deep fried beer battered button mushrooms. Fresh, quality fruit. I couldn't help but think of Starbucks' egg white wrap as I was eating it haha. But this was a quesadilla-esque wrap filled with zucchini, eggplant, mushroom and tomato with cheddar cheese. P/s: The iced hazelnut chocolate drink tasted really good as well, you might want to give it a try!Burpple Beyond: Love good food? It came with mixed berries, honey sauce, green sauce that kinda looked like kaya and whipped cream. It just tasted so good! Great ambience too, with soft toys at every table for that cosy lunch! There are lychee bits in it too.This is milk chocolate mousse infused with tropical fruits green tea ($7.50). Wash it down with an Iced Long Black ($6). Come by this cosy cafe on Changi Road for innovatively-plated treats. The fish and chips was of good size and tasted fine. Also, there seemed to be more animation amoungst the pictures with more people posting instead of just standing there with their arms at their sides, as in the "Fruits" book.

Fresh Fruits Lab (FFL) is a simple and elegant Bar & Bistro with a trademark fruity focus, artfully designed in a subtle laboratory style. Daily last order at 9.30pm. Regular menu starts from 3pm. Love how they stay true to the lab theme, serving the fruit juice in the beakers (even water is served in smaller beakers!). Wow, the last time I saw a test tube was way back in secondary school chemistry class, when I was praying for some “effervescence” in my concoction so I could note it down and get a mark.The complimentary juices were sweet and delicious, perfect for starting the meal. The FFL Signature Fish & Chips ($19) is a great option for the kids — battered Pacific dory with homemade tartar sauce and a fruit salad. I enjoyed this dish very much.The luscious mashed potatoes had a great smooth texture and went nicely with the sweet-savoury sauce.The oxford sausage (made from pork and veal) were juicy and tender. However the tea taste wasn’t pronounced so it tastes like milk chocolate mousse.The butterfly pea latte ($6) and sweet potato latte ($7) were smooth in texture but the flavour wasn’t strong enough for both. It’s not often that I travel all the way down to the far east of Singapore, but my trip to Looking through the menu, I saw a variety of pastas, burgers, salads, desserts and brunch items. How about knives and forks served to you in a surgical tray? This was definitely my favorite dish! I'm not sure what I was thinking when I chose to order this vegetarian wrap ($18) rather than a more 'typical' main. Go for their Lightning Cars ($18) that sees grilled chicken in brown sauce served with sweet potato purée, and fresh fruits. Pleasant mix of pineapple, apple, and orange juice, and it’s very filling! FFL Fresh Fruits Lab also has a brunch menu which is only available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11.30am to 2.30pm with offering of brunch staple items like pancakes and egg benedicts.
