The teachers (Ms. Shyla & Ms. Gina) and the directors (Laura Morgan and Ana Field) look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. While the curriculum could be challenging for some, my son, who is on the young side, has learned so much in his afternoon Kindergarten class he is doing remarkable and ready for 1st grade at Pomeroy. Both Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. De Mey went above and beyond in helping my older daughter gain confidence. Upon assurance from the staff that my daughter has a spot, i went ahead with the cancellation of my kid's current program. My child had good experience with her kindergarten and first grade teachers in this school, but had a very bad experience with her second grade teacher, who was very mean to her and some other students as well. I get it, but for kids who don't nap it's long and takes away from learning/playing.
