Our stay was extremely relaxing ... downtown is about 10 minute drive.We really enjoyed our stay at Sycamore Mineral Springs resort. The food was delicious and freash! Nearby, you can wander through posh boutique shops and dine at upscale restaurants. They stated that they where packed so could not move me to another room, being woken up at 5 in the morning my the neighbors and no sense of privacy isn't what you expect going to this kind of luxury "resort".
