Room types may vary.A getaway break that more than exceeded my expectations.I decided to treat myself to a short break from work and booked into Raffles for 2 nights for some quality relaxation time.I have stayed in Blackpool numerous times before and am familiar with the general quality of hotels in the area but this was my first visit here and how I,ve not stayed here before I dont know.I decided to look for somewhere central to save driving around instead of North or South and from the moment I checked in it felt like home from home.A very warm welcome by the owners Tim and Janine who did their very best to make me feel comfy and relaxed and it felt like nothing was too much trouble.My room was very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean,the bed was really comfy and as it was quiet I slept soundly, I had an excellent view of the tower which was an added bonus.I originally intended to stay BnB but as the breakfast was so delicious I decided to have an evening meal as well and took the opportunity of thanking Jay for serving me such tasty food.I,m very fussy with my food but didnt have a problem at all with what he cooked me.I found the seating in the lounge very agreeable where I could read my book or listen to the music being played with a chilled beer and this made me feel very relaxed .Compared with other hotels I,ve stayed in here at Blackpool this was definitely the best and the price of my stay was reasonable to say the least well worth the money considering the cleanliness,comfort and ideal location .I cant thank my hosts Tim and Janine enough for making my stay so enjoyable ,just what I needed whilst trying to forget work and unwind.Now I know where this delightful hotel is I will be hurrying back for another visit real soon.Thank you so much for your lovely review.
