There are even pizza places and hoagie shop that deliver to the beach. Can get crowded by public parking lot in stone harbor but we just walk down about one block to have more space. The mini golf is great and so is the movie theatre. Avalon/Stone Harbor Beaches rate among the very best of New Jersey beaches, and actually along the entire Atlantic Ocean. We love to walk on the beach about 10 minutes to have a drink or lunch at Windrift or Ocana resorts.

The waters are guarded by professional lifeguards. Calm, clean and NOT crowded. I'm a little disappointed in myself for my beach negligence here. We went in November so it was cold but relaxing to hear the water.Always love the beach at stone harbor always clean and much more quiet than wildwood. Please choose a different date.Is this a romantic place or activity that you would suggest for Stone Harbor beaches are terrific!
Solid 5 stars for the island of Stone Harbor, we love it here..I love Stone Harbor, not only because it was my favorite beach as a kid but because I've lived in florida for 16 years and got to experience all the #1 rated beaches there and stone harbor gives me some of those things that I know I love. Beach tags are required (buy it for the season, the week or the day).
