The weather has been crazy this week – cold and sunny to cloudy and warmer. I got done and spent about 20 minutes on the foam roller which is amazing for sore muscles, if you have never tried it.Today is probably one of the nicest days we have had since I’ve been here. I decided to go with the shrimp and crab legs. It was nice for everyone to unwind and celebrate our last Saturday night here at the academy.
It is bitter sweet to leave after the last several months together. In 1987, a simulated training town called “Hogan’s Alley” was added, followed by facilities to accommodate engineering research, hostage rescue teams and behavioral science teams.
It was a nice treat.
The FBI approved the band to come in and play from 6 to 10.
We wanted a celebratory dinner for completing all our class work. The front said FBINA 275 and on the back it said Section 2. I practiced a little mindfulness on the way back (something new that I learned about here).Mindful walking is something that I spoke about in one of my presentations. It felt good to be out in the sun even though it’s only 50 degrees. Mental, physical and emotional strength is key to being well. It is within the greater grounds covered by the Marine Corps Base Quantico. My first two classes consisted of final presentations from my classmates. The goal of the Citizens Academy is to foster a greater understanding of the FBI’s role in the community through open discussion and to support the FBI’s efforts to deliver information about their role, tools, tactics, jurisdiction, and vision for the future in national law enforcement, homeland defense, and counter-terrorism on all levels.
FBI Academy. Exercises included 36″ box jumps, bench press, shoulders, pull ups, rows and squats. The FBI National Academy is a professional course of study for U.S. and international law enforcement leaders that serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide. You gotta love the honesty of children.I woke up a little sore and achy today. At the time Chief Lane attended the NA, he was assistant chief of the Hobbs, New Mexico, Police Department. This site serves as a point of contact for members, sponsors, and others. Today, it was nice to feel the breeze and the sun while noticing the trees, grass, leaves, dirt, and squirrels. This program gathers law enforcement leaders from around the world to learn and train together for 10 weeks, not only elevating levels of expertise but also building bonds of friendship that last for years.The National Academy was launched in 1935 as the “Police Training School.” China, Canada, and Great Britain were among the first countries to send representatives in the late 1930s, but usually only a few officers per session.
Courtney set up a 30 minute, 5 station workout that incorporated ropes, pull ups, skier machine, pushups, and core exercises.Tonight we have the silent auction and the Marine Corp Officers Club.
