The most memorable was how they managed to take my spectacles to an optician to get it fixed over an hour and the effort made by Bunsak, their front desk manager who managed to find us a driver at the very last minute when we departed as our personal driver backed out. Suites open onto private courtyards and serene ponds, enshrouded by gardens and shaded by a canopy of mature trees – a sedate and restorative environment to return to after back-in-time adventures in the ruins of Angkor. Sadly they were running on low occupancy (just 1 other guest during our stay) so we got upgraded to a pool suite and offered a super late check-out.
To our surprise, when we sat down to our first meal they greeted us already knowing it, apparently from a profile of preferences they share among Aman properties.. Chhunny, Sarak and Lonh were so pleasant and attentive.


Tom Rutherford Regional Director - IndochinaAman means experience and I Loved it, we went for dinner at Amansara and it was simply phenomenal, beyond your expectations, it was a wonderful dinner, service to attenuation, I would like to thank the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager who came to our table and engaged himself to have chit-chat. Yes, dry cleaning and laundry service are offered to guests. Even for a quick trip into Siem Reap, the driver waits for you, regardless of how long you want to explore. The spa was closed but we utilised the gym a couple of times, I must say it's well equipped, and one of the best gyms I've ever been to with state of the art machines. Amansara also makes every drive fun – from the vintage Mercedes that once belonged to the king, to jeeps and beautiful remorques. He knew we were leaving within an hour and before our departure he had the executive chef, Daniel Horn, prepare all of the recipes! Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only.
