The damage it deals will be useful but it will very likely not be the most damaging tool in your arsenal. Is it worth it to go up for it? Two quick arbalest users can pin down bosses pretty much the entire time. Is it worth it to go up for it?

The arbalest will not really be worth the increased stat requirements. Might suit your build betterThere is literally no benefit to using the Knight Crossbow over the Arbalest except for fashion.
